UAS Services

We believe that air safety is a priority for anyone who wishes to enjoy the world of flight. Because of this, we take our training seriously and work to pass our knowledge on to others, including commercial and recreational flyers.

NIST Certification

The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) standard test methods for aerial systems provides a way for you to objectively measure the capabilities of your aircraft as well as your remote pilot’s proficiency.

As NIST sUAS test lane proctors, we can bring the Basic Open Lane test to your location and run the test for your agency. After a successful test, the remote pilot can obtain an accreditation certificate from APSA, valid for one year.

Aerial Imaging and Inspection

Our trained and experienced pilots can record video and take dozens of photos while flying at a set altitude over your property. The photos are processed and can be stitched together to build a high resolution detailed overall photo map of your property.

Investigative Services

Drones can be used in fire investigation to grab high resolution photographs of the scene from just about any elevated angle, but did you know that they can also improve the safety of the scene for investigators? Using our smaller aircraft with our specialized training, we can capture interior, close-up photographs of your scene. This is especially beneficial in structures that are not stable and pose a great risk to your staff.

Cases can be won or lost based on the admissibility of evidence and the credibility of the person who collects that evidence. When drones are used to capture photographs or video for commercial purposes, the pilot of the aircraft must be certified as an FAA 14 CFR Part 107 small unmanned aerial systems (sUAS) pilot. Without this certification, any photographs or video could be considered to have been obtained illegally.

We are experienced Part 107 Public Safety pilots with hundreds of flights. Our public safety background allows us to bring other non-flight related certifications and skills to each mission such as experience with disasters, fire and arson scene investigations, traffic accident investigations, and other major crimes.

Government Flights

We work with Public Safety personnel on a regular basis and place a high importance on missions involving human life. We will never charge any agency for life safety or recovery flights.

Hands-On Training and Proficiency

During our time as Public Safety remote pilots, we have developed basic through advanced flight drills to improve flight skills and hand-eye coordination. Most of our drills only require a few traffic cones and a small outdoor location such as a fire house parking area.

We can meet with your remote pilots to introduce and demonstrate these drills and then leave them with an illustrated Pilot Drills Guide for further practice.
